Heute vertritt kaum einer der renommierten Fachgelehrten mehr die Meinung, dass das Matthäusevangelium im Original in Aramäisch oder Hebräisch verfasst worden wäre!

Das MtEv ist durch frühe Papyri (ab ca. 200) und Zitate bei Kirchenvätern (seit der Mitte des 2. Jh.) hervorragend bezeugt. Die Integrität des auf Griechisch verfassten Textes steht nicht in Frage


200 nach Christus war Matthäus längst tot.

Die Rede ist von der von Matthäus geschriebenen Handschrift.
